The first part of the report tells about the discovery of the Odderon in the TOTEM and D0 experiments. The analysis compares the elastic cross section of proton-antiproton collisions measured by the D0 collaboration at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV and the cross section in pp collisions measured by the TOTEM collaboration at 2.76, 7, 8, and 13 TeV. These two datasets differ by 3.4 sigma and thus support the t-channel exchange hypothesis for a colorless C-odd composite gluon object, also known as an odderon. Combining these results with the TOTEM collaboration analysis of the same C-odd exchange in the total cross section and the ratio of the real and imaginary parts of the elastic forward scattering amplitude in strong pp scattering results in a combined significance greater than 5 sigma. The second part of the report describes the prospect of searching for anomalous quarter interactions and axion-like particles using tagged protons in the final state. The sensitivity to the effects of physics beyond the Standard Model is expected to improve by 2–3 orders of magnitude. In conclusion, a brief description of ultrafast silicon detectors for time measurements is given and their applications in medicine and cosmic ray physics are discussed.
