The event "The HERCULES Specialized Course (HSC)", which since 2006 has been held as an additional to the well-known European school HERCULES on the application of neutrons and synchrotron radiation for condensed matter research (http://hercules-school.eu/).

This year the specialized course "The HERCULES Specialized Course (HSC)" will be held online from May 31 to June 9.

Event Organizers: Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium CERIC-ERIC (Europe's Leading Distributed Materials Science Infrastructure), Horizon 2020 ACCELERATE and CALIPSOplus projects.

A specialized course is an extensive training that combines theoretical and practical training. Lectures will be delivered by leading experts from CERIC-ERIC partner organizations.
Researchers will have the opportunity to expand their scientific knowledge of large research infrastructures and learn more about the various methods offered by CERIC-ERIC partner centres.

Target audience: researchers from any country in the world, primarily young researchers (postgraduates and postdocs) in the fields of physics, chemistry and biology.

Registration is open.
1st stage of registration: until April 26; notification from the organizers: May 7
Deadline for final registration: May 17, notification from the organizers: May 24
